Summary
Mike's an expert at pushing down his feelings so no one else can see them. He's had years of practice- but what happens when a supernatural enemy is inside his head and can see every thought he has? There's no hiding anymore, but Mike is nothing if not stubborn.
Sure, maybe he's been having more depressive thoughts recently- and the headaches, bloody noses, and terrible nightmares are getting worse- and sure, those are signs of Vecna's curse... but who else has to know but him?
Someone has to be fine, he can handle it. He always has. At least he's the one going through this and not any of the others!

Summary
November 3rd, 1987. As the party is on the hunt to find and kill Vecna, Mike is unexpectedly captured and taken into the Upside Down. When he wakes up to see that he has joined Max in Henry’s mindscape, he’s got no choice but to face the parts of himself he has long kept repressed in order to escape.
OR
I have decided that the best way to cope with that ending was to write my own version of season 5 purely out of spite, while attempting to fill every single plot hole along the way.

Summary
“Will,” he whispers, so softly that he doesn’t even hear it, but he knows he said it. It’s in the familiar way his tongue curls around the vowels, how the word sits on his tongue like a spring, desperate to find a place in every conversation. He knows it like his mother knows the commandments, so intimately that if he were to strip the flesh from his stomach he would find the name carved into every inch of his ribs. It’s his own language of Eden, taught to him by the God that only reaches out when he wants to take.
“Mike,” Will whispers back, and his voice breaks halfway through his name. His hands cup Mike’s face in that gentle but firm way they’ve all learned to hold things after they had been ripped away one too many times.
In which I rewrite Season 5 in order to give Mike, Will, and El (and frankly, everyone) the endings they deserved.But is Will strong enough to enter the Hivemind and guide Mike out of his mental prison? And is Mike strong enough to survive Venca's mindscape and confront the things he has so desperately tried to bury?

Summary
Steve Harrington is born with soulmarks, as everyone else is. There are black marks littering his tiny body right from the start, waiting for the day someone’s touch will turn them to color, when he’ll find his soulmates.
His parents have already turned two of them a shiny silver, two picture perfect little thumbprints right under the center of his collarbone, almost in the shape of a heart. It couldn’t be more picturesque. It’s the sort of thing they’ll take polaroids of, and show off to all their rich friends. Their perfect little Harrington with his perfect little marks.
The rest of them are far from perfect. They're all far from perfect, Steve learns as he grows. And that's only the tip of the iceberg.
