Summary
After being ordered to “terminate” a certain company target, Satya makes a rash decision: to flee Vishkar and take whatever she can carry with her to the Atlantic Arcology, where Niran, eager for her company, promises she’ll be safe. But once the adrenaline wears off, reality begins to sink in–her life as she knew it is over. She’s floundering, and lost without the routines she’s come to live by.
When Niran saw Satya’s loyalties wavering, he pounced on the opportunity to both rescue his dear friend and stick it to Vishkar. Satya was the only person who ever truly understood him, and he’s been so very alone all these years without her. But when he realizes how much she’s struggling to adapt to life on the run, he begins to question how much of Satya’s “liberation” was strictly for his own benefit.
The bond they share is unquestionable. What Niran is left wondering is if that bond is what Satya deserves.
