If Bruce could see him now…
He shut that thought down with the grinding grit of his teeth. As if he wasn’t aware his landings were getting sloppy, that the only reason he hadn’t snapped an ankle yet was thanks to the support of his boots. As if he couldn’t feel the sharp ache burn hot in his shoulder every time he released the grapple a tad too late. Jason knew what he was doing. He was very much in control.
And maybe that made it even worse.

In which Jason feels himself slipping further into depression. His denial and obstinate refusal to admit something's wrong leads him to injuring his knee on patrol one night. Bruce convinces him to spend the night at the manor, and he's intent on falling into the closest bed and not getting up until the arrival of spring. But as he passes by the den, he notices Tim. Tim introduces him to Stardew Valley, and for once, Jason feels okay. Not good or great, but okay. It leads to a fleeting little thought: an idea that just might be crazy for a concrete jungle kind of kid, but one he's willing to try.

At first it seems like a prank - surely one of the morning shifties bought a cheap-ass knockoff costume online, put it on, locked himself in a cell and took the opportunity to have a break. It makes a lot more sense than what Dick’s seeing now.

The Red Hood keeps getting arrested and Roy is probably a little bit in love. Dick is fed up with the both of them.
