    Summary

Already in the castle corridors, he took out of his breeches' pocket a brooch with a large oval indigo stone – the only thing that remained from Elsa’s cape. A couple of experiments in the wine cellar, and he knew for sure a few fascinating facts about clothing made of ice: it does not melt from body heat, tastes as plain as water, and ignites if set aflame purposefully and bursts utmost like thousands of crystal shards within a moment, leaving no trace but a mere memory of perception.

This is a redemption fic essentially with some observation and reflection on characters' personalities. As they go on with their lifes, each of them faces all kind of troubles which would make them question their beliefes and bring internal conflicts out into the light to test them.
