Summary
Squall Leonhart packed up his bags and planned to leave Radiant Garden for good. But as he passed by the old, abandoned church, the laughter echoing from within its ruined walls enticed him enough to stay. After meeting Aerith, the church’s unofficial caretaker, his life changed forever. From blowing up secret labs to fighting malevolent deities, Squall struggles to protect the one he cherishes most from the encroaching Darkness.
But Aerith is no damsel in distress.
When the Eight Years War finally ends, the borders are restored, the stars are returned to the sky, and the hearts are freed from their dark prison. But somewhere along the way, the shadows claim one final victim. Aerith rushes to rescue her loved ones, but what awaits her at journey’s end might be more than she bargained for.
Takes place before, during, and after KH1 (but you can also enjoy this without having significant knowledge of KH).

Summary
The early end of the Organization sent Riku to the Realm of Darkness. Aqua found a way out—but not back to the Light. They emerged in the Realm of Dreams.
Three years later, all eight Keyholes are finally sealed, but still the converging worlds remain in the Dream, and Riku and Aqua wonder if they really want to leave. They owned a home. Somehow adopted a kid. Everything about them just fell into place so that they were married in all but name.
But now the life they’ve made is threatened by the end of the Sleeping Realm. The worlds are rifting apart.

Aerith held a hand against her face, giggling in broken spurts like the villain and the victim of some childish prank.
Leon raised an eyebrow. “Something funny?”
“I just—” Aerith wheezed, let her shoulders settle. She lowered her hand to half-cover her mouth, but felt her lips tremble in a growing smile. “I heard a rumor, just now…that you and I are…dating.”
He hid his discomfort well, but Aerith saw just enough behind those blue-grey eyes. The telltale flash of one’s heart skipping one beat too many…just like hers was doing now, the longer the rumor lingered in her mind. And that begged the question: ‘Why not?’
Why not bring this lie to life?

Summary
Traverse Town is under lockdown. Leon is out leading the patrol to rescue any stragglers from the Heartless, and all Aerith can do is stay holed-up in the Second District Hotel, healing the survivors and waiting for him to return.
Then, the town blacks out. The temperature plummets. Leon’s unit returns without him.
And Aerith decides she can’t wait around anymore.
