Summary
Amamiya Ren is a victim of a corrupt system. Wrongly convicted of a crime he didn't commit and abandoned by everyone, even his parents, he was shipped of to Tokyo for probation. Little does he know that he is part of a game with the odds rigged against him. However, Yuki Kuroku, member of the now-dissolved SEES has infiltrated the game. My least favourite part of Ren being a silent protagonist, is how little he fought with Akechi at the end of things.

The bright full moon on the window behind him almost makes it seem like it’s a clear night, but Goro knows better, still feeling the rainwater that seeped into his coat and shoes.

The blues of the night mix with the reds of the carpets, vases, paintings–his eyes.
As their gazes meet, even from a distance, Goro can tell they are something special. They remind him of bats' eyes, light reflecting on them, making them glow.
