Summary
It’s under-exposed and grainy, clearly caught with frantic hands before either of them had the chance to notice the phone camera pointed at them. Just barely discernible in the low light, Oscar is leaning against the wall outside some nondescript building in Monaco with his head thrown back, laughing in that stupid, exaggerated way he always seems to when Lando Norris is involved. Lando’s not fully facing the camera, but his hair and side profile give him away. He’s pressing a kiss to the corner of Oscar’s mouth, one hand tangled in the hair at the back of his neck while the other rests on his waist. It is, unfortunately, the kind of photo a person could stare at forever. Tangible evidence of a life well-lived and well-loved.
OR: Oscar and Lando get outed, and the world keeps turning.

Summary
Lando leaned against the kitchen counter, fingers curled loosely around a bottle of beer, watching as people milled around—laughing, sharing cigarettes out on the balcony, dancing lazily to the lo-fi playlist Max had put on loop. He wasn’t quite bored, but he wasn’t quite present either. These kinds of parties blurred together lately: familiar faces, predictable small talk, the constant flicker of eyes when people recognised him.
Until him.
The guy sitting cross-legged on the floor near the bookshelf, in jeans that looked too comfortable to be fashionable and a knitted jumper that made him look like he’d wandered in from a chilly night out. He had dark brown hair that curled at the ends and a focused kind of presence, like someone listening intently to a song only he could hear.

“– if you are in a relationship with anyone in the team, it must be reported to HR after an appropriate amount of time. Otherwise, it might get – ah” he hesitated “– difficult. You understand” Andrea was still talking, looking expectantly at both of them, Oscar felt like he had lost the trail of the conversation. Looking over at Lando, who looked similarly baffled by the turn this ‘check in’ had taken.
Lando decided this was the time to speak up, “Is this like an… update? That we need to know?” obvious confusion colouring his tone.
Andrea blinked. “this is something we feel you both should be aware of, yes.”
Or
Everyone knows Oscar and Lando are dating… except Lando and Oscar themselves.

Summary
It was a joke, it was funny, Right?
That’s why when Oscar had reached over and ruffled Lando’s hair at the Christmas party, let his curls slide through the webbing of his fingers, pushing his fingers ever so slightly into his scalp, Lando hadn’t gotten that same disgusted feeling he’d gotten at Abu Dhabi, at the gala. Because Oscar had done it to make fun of it, because it was a joke.
