Summary
He doesn’t scream.
You kind of hate him for it.
Because you know this type.
Boys who bleed quiet. The beautiful, tragic kind who carry pain like it’s a penance.
...
It’s the age-old fall from grace: high school royalty faceplants into reality, and the Burger King crown starts hanging heavy. (Sailor hat, in his case.) Heir to the Hawkins High hierarchy, ruler of keggers and hallways alike, Steve Harrington used to be untouchable. Now? He's shaking under your hands, bleeding from battles no trophy could ever commemorate. You've stitched together plenty of broken people before—but never one that left a scar in you, too.

Summary
Magic will follow intent. He has been told that in every class, every year, since he first stepped foot in Hogwarts. No spell, no potion—nothing will work unless your intent is clear and your mind is focused. So he’s not really surprised to find himself here once again—on the precipice of highly improbable, though not impossible, magic.
After all, he is “The Boy Who Lived.” So he’ll figure out a way to live through this like he always does, because Harry Potter always perseveres—even if he can’t be “Harry Potter” anymore, and it’s 1974, and Voldemort is at the height of his power, and Severus Snape has, weirdly enough, really pretty eyes.
“Yeah,” Harry thought as he attempted to ignore that last bit his mind unhelpfully added on, “I can do this.”

God what a fic! Honestly could do with more monster fucking, but that said one of the best I've read in a long while. The imagery and prose were magnificent, and the lore and world building that went into everything was mind-blowing, truly appreciated, and astounding.

Summary
Severus Snape survived the war. He’s not thrilled about it.
Life after Voldemort was supposed to be quiet, preferably nonexistent, and certainly not filled with other people’s problems. Instead, Severus finds himself in a most unfortunate predicament—saddled with an unwanted role as a healer for someone who, much like himself, would rather not be here at all.
His patient is fragile, infuriatingly difficult to keep alive, and far too comfortable with her own mortality. And yet, against all logic, she’s also someone he doesn’t entirely hate. Which is concerning. Very concerning.
Trapped in a house where the furniture has too much personality, the house-elves are far too enthusiastic, and the family is distressingly nosy, Severus must endure the absolute worst fate imaginable—human connection. And if that wasn’t enough, it turns out that fate has cursed him with something even more insufferable: a very long, painful (frozen) slow-burn.
Sarcasm is exchanged like currency, reluctant care turns into something neither of them dare name, and Severus is faced with the most horrifying realization of all—perhaps life isn’t quite done with him yet.

God what a delicious slow burn, amazing characterizations, and such tasty prose. Every twist is met with a turn, every step forward feels like there are two steps back, I cant wait to see where this story goes.
