Summary
Agni has stood by as his children have used their gifts to burn the world, consumed with despair but reluctant to interfere. When the one who is meant to act as his intermediary in the mortal realm burns his own son in a shocking act of cruelty in front of a crowd who fail to step in, that is the final straw.
The Fire Nation descends into chaos at the sudden loss of firebending, & the war becomes bloodier still, as the troops fight on out of sheer desperation, terrified that a reckoning is now due.
And then Iroh, tending his injured nephew while trying to keep him safe from a vengeful father who blames him for this calamity, realises that Zuko's inner flame still burns...

Its the end of the world. His world. And its happened too many times before. The hurt, the pain, the anger, is all too much. Peter Parker is finally ready for revenge and the rest of the world will sure as hell back him.

"... Peter says, voice hoarse, 'Karen. Activate instant kill mode,' and the eyes on his suit narrow into red pinpricks, and whoever was holding him back tries to catch him again but Peter’s too quick and he darts away and just throws himself at Thanos, oh gosh, please no" -

Summary
They say that Sozin's line are inhuman monsters.
That's not what Chief Hakoda sees when he fishes a sickly thirteen-year-old Fire Prince out of the ocean. Then the boy knocks out his guard and forces Hakoda to chase him up the main mast to stop him from setting the ship on fire, and Prince Zuko proves exactly how much of a monster he is.
Which isn't actually that much. Volume-wise.

Through the spite of the spirits or plain rotten chance, a door that would have been better left untouched has opened. On the other hand, with Fire and Earth as one's allies, sometimes escaping is the easy part.

The Dragon-King's Temple by Kryal
How is this so perfect? Amazing worldbuilding to combine the two settings (and some very interesting new stuff!), Stargate Science re-examined and made better, on point characterization, the way the two teams echo/mirror each other?!
And the Stargate people being Concerned about the Gaang: "what have these (overpowered, but still) children been through and who can we beat up for it? Must Protect." Which is such a Mood. But also these children ARE actually OP and your best bet at survival at the moment, lol.
Headcanons accepted.

Summary
“Sokka,” Fire Lord Zuko speaks up. “Are you done talking to them? Because if so-”
“Let's say I'm done, but we'll still have to talk,” says Older Sokka. “We have a problem. More precisely, five problems. These are not members of the New Ozai Society, trying to kill you by disguising themselves as us. It's us. From the past.”
“Hey!” objects loudly younger Sokka. “What are you doing, future me?”
Or: on their way to the North Pole, Aang, Katara and Sokka are ambushed by Zuko and his uncle. Somehow, this leads to them visiting the future.

Summary
Hakoda watches his children pensively. His gaze turns to the Fire Prince, who stubbornly refuses to look at any of them.
Hakoda remembers everything he has heard. His eyes wander toward the scar on the boy's face, making him wonder...
“How many times did Ozai try to kill you, Zuko?”
He realizes too late that he has spoken these words aloud. Suddenly, it becomes quiet around him.
And Zuko begins to count silently.
Or: Hakoda asks Zuko about his relationship with his father. Zuko answers far too honestly.

“How can we trust you to teach Aang anything when you clearly can't control your flames?!”
Irritation flashes across Zuko’s face. He wants to say something, but Katara doesn't give him the chance.
“You burned Toph right after you announced that you were on our side! You burned down Kyoshi Island! Not to mention what you did to yourself–!”
Zuko raises his hand.
“Wait,” he says, frowning. “You think that my scar was caused by… some kind of training accident and that I did it to myself?”
Or: Katara has doubts about Aang's new firebending teacher. After all, Zuko’s fire has already hurt too many — including himself.
