Well, I'm watching General Hospital again! These stories are old, OLD chestnuts from the Julie Marie Berman/Dominic Zamprogna days. I decided to transfer these from fanfiction.net because Lante lives! (RIP Sam, we did like you too!) Alexa Havins Bruening is a wonderful choice! She has all the spunk and spirit that the daughter of Luke and Laura should have! So with some small tweaks, spellcheck, and a quick check for repetition I am migrating these stories. Apologies for creative grammar and some old-school POV, slightly toxic stalker energy (Dante wtf, you were raised better) because the writers gave that when Lante first started. I also apologize for the crusty music choices because you know this was in the 2010s.
Dante and Max decide to have a "boys' night" and commiserate about women. Karaoke night at Jake's has something else in mind. Rated Teen for mild language, innuendo and bad Karaoke! ;-)4 chapters, MAXIMUM - I promise!
Very mild "mature" action, for some sexy flirting and needy smooches, also extremely irresponsible drinking (ain't no shame! They were young.)

So I'm taking a short break from shipping Danny and Steve in Oahu to stroll the straight side of the road. Why, because Chip Esten is adorable and I think I'm in love. I also think Callie Khouri, brilliant as she is, will always leave us wanting (and tuning in) and because of that, I ain't never gonna get enough Deacon and Rayna. Sooooooo I'm borrowing.
A Rayna/Deacon prequel. My fevered imaginings of how they met, based on clues from songs and storylines. (probably waaaaay off base) Property of said brilliant Callie Khouri, ABC and Mrs. Chip Esten (though if he's ever up for sale, I'm getting a bid in early) Un-betaed schmoop and they haven't even kissed yet - SIGH - apologies. Expect four (yep FOUR) chapters.
I fully expect to be writing this solely for myself, but if you feel like reading, get a sandwich, to keep your bloodsugar up ;-)
