Summary
in which an unexpected power outage in his apartment building leaves cross worried for his colleague, killer, who lives in the same aforementioned building. he goes to check on him, half-expecting his acquaintance to greet him at the door completely unfazed.
he wasn’t expecting to meet his roommates, dust and horror, two other sanses that nobody had ever mentioned to him. he didn’t even think that killer was the type to have roommates at all.
and he definitely wasn’t expecting them to welcome him as if he were one of their own.or, cross slowly but surely re-learns how to open up to people.
(anyway uh i’m soft for them and i came up with this in the middle of the night and i am very attached to this idea and i cannot let go of it now)
