Summary
The light vibration in his throat as he tried to speak was missing. Like his vocal cords had completely given up on him.
Grian looked back at the two suspected culprits with wide eyes, trying to hide the way his right hand was trembling on his neck.
“I had hoped it would not come to this”, the left one spoke, the voice devoid of emotion. “You have been chosen. You are to become one of Us. And Watchers do not speak.”

Evolution was supposed to be a normal server. Grian wasn’t supposed to get trapped in the End and be changed into something beyond his comprehension. As his playerhood gets ripped away, Grian is thrusted into the cold, unfeeling world of Watchers. A world he never was meant to belong to.
Deep down, he is still a player wanting to be whole again. A player wanting to get back his old connections and live a normal life. A player, who had lost his physical body and the ability to interact with his surroundings in the process of becoming a Watcher.
This story is a journey of learning to live once more, finding and returning to normal when "normal" seems unattainable, and finally being able to love yourself again.

Summary
The Watchers weren’t quite satisfied with how Secret Life played out, so they’ve decided to mix things up a bit. The players they had chosen had gotten far too comfortable with the games, so they needed to do something to change that. All the while plotting to get back one of their own.
Meanwhile Grian discovers just how little control he has over the games, how easily players can be turned against one another, and how persistent the past is to repeat itself. Not to mention just how much his own worldview differs from the truth.

Summary
It started off as a small thing, a brief summary of the week sent off to a group of people who’d file Xisuma’s report in some archive or something - he didn’t know the full details. Then individual hermits started sharing their perspectives of the week - sorting out inaccuracies, defending their honour, or just providing an insight into events that Xisuma may have missed. Word spread, and now, by the end of each week, Xisuma would have a stack of papers ready to be sent off and organised. This week, however, the stack was significantly shorter, with eight hermit’s absences weighing deeply on Xisuma’s mind.
Or, each week the hermits contribute to an archive of files, all recapping the events of the week. The files contained within this document detail the initial reaction to the "Third Life" server - when the hermits found out some of their own were missing, when they found out what happened to the missing hermits, and more.
