Naadja's legs kicked as she sat on the large wooden desk in Captain Eska's office. Parchment with various reports and proposals were tucked under her. She hadn't been waiting long, but she'd grown bored in the solitude and searched for something to occupy her time.
Eska didn't realize she was keeping Naadja waiting, of course. Naadja stopped by as a surprise. But still, she could bother to be in her office for once.

It had become a bit of a cycle between the two of them- Naadja setting him off in some way and Etmin crossing a line he'd have to sulk back over, tail tucked between his legs. Only this time he hadn't quite gotten to the sulking phase and Naadja was still poking him for the apology she felt she rightfully deserved.

They were not going to touch each other.
The issue was not that of lust, Naadja had no reservations about indulgence. She had engaged in sexual encounters numerous times before. No, this was another issue entirely.
Naadja knew it in her very bones by the way her heart quickened at the sight of the szarkai’s fleeting gaze. She'd hold her breath and count the seconds to see just how long she kept her attention. Not nearly as long as she wished, but sometimes long enough that she grew lightheaded.
She knew it by the exacting measures she took to folding the letters to Zafyna she wrote in a language they made that only they knew. If even a miniscule tab of parchment stuck out from the intricate folding, she'd toss it and begin anew.

Stumbling into the Rogue Trader's quarters, Kibellah could taste the glasses of amasec that Judith drank on her tongue. Feet shuffled as she pulled the ornate coat off of Judith's shoulders, dropping it and her inhibitions at the door.
Kibellah watched as Judith's fingers blindly fumbled with her plate, trying to undo it.
“Let me, Domin.” Kibellah giggled, undoing the latches herself. Judith peeled off the layers of her own clothes until she stood before Kibellah, nude.

They crawled forward, hoisting the great mass of arachnid into the vault. Perched atop the long, black legs was a slender body, feminine and ebon-skinned. Naadja gazed in awe as this formidable figure perched above her, fine white hair descending like the webs strewn about her.
