“He had a long day,” John said, putting his right arm around George, “he answered questions at the interview!”
“‘m still awake, y’know,” George mumbled. His eyes were closed but he was smiling.
“Settle down, you’re dreaming,” John said, softly running his hand down George’s side. He looked at Paul and fake winced, having thought George wouldn’t hear. Paul’s chest gently bounced below Ringo’s head as he laughed.
Ringo relaxed a bit. This was normal to them. This was comforting.
