Summary
Follows the life of one person living in the small town of Lima, Ohio—sixteen-year-old Nico Bianchi. Starting their sophomore year at William McKinley High School, Nico is juggling AP and Honors classes, co-captaining the lacrosse team, and balancing after-school martial arts and dance—all while being one of the only out gay teens within thirty miles. When their friends Santana and Brittany pull them into the chaos of the Glee Club, Nico’s world gets even more complicated. Between a solo-crazed sophomore, a surprise teen pregnancy, unwanted attention, and more show tunes than anyone asked for, Nico has to decide whether they can handle it all—or if the pressure will break them.

It’s Dad’s turn to speak after Ana tosses him a confused look, facing Christopher with that classic dad look that says he’s going to treat this like a phase in the nicest, daddest way possible. “And when did this development start?”
“Yesterday,” he replies determinedly, “at Buck’s house. He cooks vegan stuff when I’m there so I’m vegan now.”
Evidently, that’s not enough explanation for them, because Ana and Dad trade another look. Dad looks so small underneath Ana’s intense, almost angry glare.

"Ah, but I am funny." Rozanov shrugged, sipping his vodka. "And hot." He winked at Kip.
Kip's jaw flew open and Scott immediately pulled his boyfriend closer to him. So what if Ilya Rozanov was 100% straight and definitely trying to fuck with him? Scott still wasn't going to just stand there while fucking Rozanov flirted with his boyfriend.

Summary
In Vegas, after they’d said everything right up to the edge of I love you, Shane and Ilya came up with a plan. It was long term, with many, many steps. There might be a spreadsheet somewhere that Shane won’t admit to.
But it’s a plan, nonetheless. Over the summer of 2014, they tweak it and add things important to the both of them. There are even many, extensive, contingency plans.
OR
Thanks to Shane's small lie the first time they hooked up, Shane and Ilya are together years earlier. Now, they have to figure out what to do about it.

“My flight is early tomorrow,” Rozanov says. He bites his lip. Shane’s eyes stick there too. “You look in hallway, yes?”
Shane sticks his head out. The hallway is empty.
Would it hurt? To go another round? Rozanov has to fly out early anyway, it’s hardly like they’ll be spending time befriending each other. What is one night, when they’ve already crossed the line with eyes wide open?
“Shit,” he says. “There’s a couple at the end of the hallway, arguing, you know? You better wait until they leave.”
OR
Shane lies, that first night, to keep Rozanov to himself a little longer. The changes spiral out from there.
