So I wait for the Tiger to stick his tongue out and drop your birthday-card-date-invitation onto my lap. But, instead, he slowly opens his eyes and creases his brow at me, and the corners of his smile sink.
I ask him, “What’s wrong?”
And—
That’s when I see it. The bracelet. The chrysanthemum knot.
Your bracelet.
The Tiger had been carrying it between his teeth this whole time. He nudges my arm with his head, so I put a hand under his mouth. Then he drops your bracelet into my palm.
The blue and purple woven ropes. The chrysanthemum knot in the middle of it all. It feels warm and light.
And, I don’t know. You don’t even know, Jinu.
Didn’t you realize that this was never meant for me?
After the Idol Awards, all that remains of the Saja Boys are old posters, soda cans, and hundreds of thousands of people worldwide, whose bodies are now covered in beautiful patterns.
And all that remains of Rumi and Jinu is their last song.
The song at the edge of her dreams threatens to fade away. Rumi picks up a bipa and gets to work.
Mira and Zoey have to remind her that she’s not alone anymore.
(Rumi grieves for Jinu and attempts to record “Free”.)

As the car approaches her district, Mira’s rehearsing her words. She’ll button up right. She’ll keep her glasses straight. She’ll check for any creases on the five envelopes inside her bag. She’ll check her GED too, that it has no tears. That it has her name on it. On the road with the clouds getting thicker, there’s no time for her to open each envelope and re-count the won inside.
Walking slowly so she won’t trample the flowers, Mira’s gonna climb up those steps for the first time in five years. She’s gonna open the door, and the first person she’ll see is her mother.
Hey, Mom, she’ll say.
Mira goes on a road trip without the girls. She's gonna visit her parents for the first time in five years. Meanwhile, Rumi and Zoey are planning something on the phone…

You know what I think? I think Dan was trying to bring me to the stall. The one with the shiny metal, where they appraise blades and daggers and earrings. Right before all of this, before he fell the second time, he galloped over to me with a book of ten million pages in his arms.
Immediately after Dan fell, I flipped the book open with a massive slam and cast ten million spells of healing on his head.
The book was a romance short story collection. I have it in my lap right now.
Dande and Rocinoll have their sights on a precious blade in the black market.

Summary
This is a collection of various Dragon Marked For Death short stories I created from 2019 and onward. Some are finished while others are unfinished. I created this collection to archive old work since I first played Dragon Marked For Death.
These stories can be read in any order, but they are ordered by approximate chronological order of my DMFD AU's timeline. I’ll update the collection accordingly as I find more excerpts. I hope that you will enjoy my personal explorations of the world of Remlia, and thank you for reading!

Summary
A series of Dragon Marked For Death novels narrated by each of the characters in my save file: the Warrior Milan, the Shinobi Dande, the Witch Rocinoll, the Bandit Hírondel (and the Oracle Gardenia), and the Empress Alouette.
The planned order of the stories is Frostbite, Poison, Paralysis, Confusion, and Burn.
In general, if you’re unfamiliar with DMFD, you can still read my stories because I wrote them for people who don’t know what DMFD is.

Summary
An exploration of the connection between Ashe and Prometheus built around an alternate portrayal of the world and final events of Mega Man ZX Advent, as well as the subsequent fallout. I cut my teeth as a writer on this story back in 2021, using the world and Mega Man characters as a foundation from which to explore themes I was interested in - particularly body horror, slow-burn romance, and what it might actually take for two people with as messy of a history as the protagonists to reconcile. As such, this is a heavily-transformative work that assumes a knowledge of the ZXA series but bears little resemblance to the source material in setting or sequence of events, although the portrayal of the characters included will hopefully be familiar enough to offer some enjoyment to those who know and love them.

This is the first Eggy Party Hype Arena-related fic I have ever read… To be honest, I was planning to make a Hype Arena fic as a joke, and it would involve (English locale names) Bulu (Blue Eggy) x Rocky (Black Eggy). So in this story (which is in a cute format of social media posts!), this was a nice comedy, especially when Minty (Green Eggy) appeared and began to spread gossip (while taking naps between posts)! -

Author! Author! What the fuck!! (/positive, lighthearted)Oh man I enjoyed EVERY SECOND of this genuinely.
I was joking with my friends about coming up with an AU like this, and also specifically with Rumi as an engineer, Mira as an artist, Zoey as a game designer, and Bobby as a producer, recruiter, or marketing lead… and now this story exists! I jawdropped literally.
While reading it, I was laughing a lot at how I related to pretty much every element about professional gamedev in this story.
I’m surprised that this exists, so thank you for making it exist! I’m looking forward to more. You’ve got me hooked.
