Summary
Alastor had a plan to get rid of his chains and he certainly succeeded. Now that he's free, he wants to get all the power he can from Lucifer because why not? He thinks of the perfect deal: he'll become the King of Hell's Exclusive Executioner and in exchange, he'll tap into Lucifer's infinite source of power. Sounds fair, right?

Summary
Waking up was a strange experience. It felt like it had been a long time since he had come into consciousness, and his body and mind were fighting it every step of the way. The first thing he noticed when consciousness started to creep in, was the smell. It was clean, with a clear smell chlorine, sharp and distinct, like ozone. Something present after lightning or around areas of high voltage. It triggered something in the back of his mind, but he couldn’t pinpoint what it was. He was sure that it was not something that he would normally smell, though he could not understand why it smelled wrong. His mind just told him that it wasn’t what he was supposed to be smelling when he woke up. Though, it also did not tell him what he should be smelling.
When you wake up from a dream, only to enter a nightmare, where you don't know who, or even what you are, what are you supposed to do? He didn't even know his own name, or why he looked so... horrifying. All he knew was that he was in a bed, naked, with mirrors reflecting above him.

Summary
The wound on Alastor’s chest becomes badly infected and he’s unable to manage the pain even with drugs and alcohol. It gets to the point of him passing out in one of the hotel’s public spaces, unable to recover before he’s discovered by Charlie. Charlie drags Lucifer to Alastor’s side and tearfully begs Lucifer to save him. She’s having flashbacks to Pentious’s death and is terrified Lucifer might refuse out of spite towards Alastor and she just can’t lose another friend, she can’t!
Lucifer was never going to refuse, but the desperation and fear in his little girl’s voice breaks his heart all the same. Sure, he has his problems with the guy, but he wasn’t going to just leave Alastor for double dead. Who would he argue with over his morning coffee then? He overcompensates, just a tad, using his magic to not only mend the flesh but purge all foreign elements from the Sinner’s body…
Leaving behind a stranger with Alastor’s face and voice, but none of his demonic traits or abilities. Or memories.

Summary
Lucifer forces healing upon Alastor and feels guilty about it later. He eventually realizes that he didn't completely heal the wound and tries to be nicer to the demon so he lets him finish healing him. Lucifer already knows he's physically attracted to Alastor, but as he spends more time with him, Lucifer starts to develop feelings.
Alastor already didn't like Lucifer, and Lucifer healing him the way he did doesn't make anything better. He would rather just avoid Lucifer, but when Charlie makes them do activities together to get them to get along, he ends up having to spend more time with the king.
Over time, with some outside influences, Alastor and Lucifer grow closer to each other and begin to form a friendship. No one expects Alastor to begin to feel some strange feelings towards Lucifer. Unfortunately, it will not be easy for the two to start a relationship as they battle their own reservations, how they think the other views them, and the constraints of Alastor's deal.
