Summary
When creating a new team of mercenaries, the Administrator comes across a problem: her chosen Pyro is great on the battlefield but can't interact with people. Luckily, she has a solution for this threat to the future team morale. Brooke Zichichi is entering her senior year of high school at 18 and while she may have trouble with socializing herself, she can at least manage to be around them without having a breakdown, not to mention her familial connections might prove her usefulness on the battlefield. She'll find herself thrust into a world of death, friendships, familial bonds, and romance all while trying to keep her secret under wraps. Can she hide the truth from everyone? Does it really matter if the team is made up of 10 people instead of 9? Only time will tell.

“Too much for ya, Darlin?” A rumble, like thunder over the horizon.
Pyro pants and shakes their head, no, not too much, but it’s so good and so much and they don’t know how to accept it so they spread their legs and brace themselves on the bedding. “More.”
“Only goes up to ten, sweet thing.”
Pyro likes these words. Pyro likes the honey rich way Engie says them. Pyro isn’t regretting asking for this at all. They do pant and squirm a bit more, then they ask, “But you can make it more?”
“I can. And I’m gonna. If ya let me calibrate it on you, that is.” Engie seems to pick the words carefully, they come more slowly than even the normal slow words.
“I want that. Then I can take it to Spy, right? He really wants to do more to me.”
Engie chuckles, nods, and pulls the device away.

“Hudda hudda hmmph” Incoherent slurs of sound, at least to all those besides Pyro. But after years of working with them, Engie had learned at least the basics of it.
“Ya better be sorry, son. Nearly gave me a heart attack.” His accent is much smoother, Engineer can’t stay mad at his friend for long.----
