Summary
A hand grasped his arm, sending a brief thrill down Merlin's nerves as he was forced around to face the person behind him. Armour gleamed in the firelight: supple chainmail glinted, and the solid iron of a pauldron curved lovingly over one broad shoulder. The length of a sword blade separated them. The point hovered, steady and sure, over Merlin's heart, braced to run him through, but he did not care about any of that. He was too busy drinking in the sight of the man before him.
He could never forget him, no matter how many centuries had passed.

Summary
Liu Qingge stares down at the deep bruise on his chest wrapping around his torso. It's from where Shen Qingqiu attacked him. He wants to be mad and storm over to Qing Jing Peak to attack Shen Qingqiu back for such an underhanded hit, but then he remembers that it's that very hit that forced him out of the most destructive path of qi deviation, saving both their lives.
He lays his hand over the bruise. Over his heart. Almost a whisper he asks the air, "Did you…" Did you mean to save me, or were you trying to kill me and once you realized you failed you needed to cover your own ass so I didn't immediately murder you?

“I’m in the middle of training,” Liu Qingge says in a clipped tone.
“That’s all right,” Shen Qingqiu says, flicking his fan in the air. “Go train, I’ll wait.”
Liu Qingge stares at him. “Wait?”
“Until you’re done, of course,” Shen Qingqiu says, as if it’s the most obvious thing. “I’ll find us some tea.”
Liu Qingge could have told Shen Qingqiu that his training would last all day. He could have informed him, brusquely, without care, that he dislikes having his rituals interrupted, that Shen Qingqiu would be waiting for the sun to cease its rise and fall, the mountains around them to crumble and fade.
Instead, he lets out a rush of air through his nose. “Fine. I will join you when I’m done.”
Shen Qingqiu’s face lights up, soft and pleased.

Luo Binghe swallowed. “Shizun…” He reached out, but when Shen Qingqiu flinched slightly, he lowered his hands. “This disciple is…sorry.” He was still having difficulty speaking. “Did I hurt Shizun?”
“No, it’s fine.” Shen Qingqiu sighed, the tenseness leaving his own shoulders as he let Luo Binghe take his wrist, where red marks were visible. “I just didn’t expect you to grab so tightly.”
As he massaged the other’s skin, his eyes trailed over his shizun’s body. He still remembered many, many years ago, ripping this same arm off this same body, with that same face set in a grimace of pain but also holding an arrogant glare filled with nothing but resentment. Luo Binghe himself had felt nothing but disgust and equal resentment in turn.
Once again, he was suddenly finding it hard to breathe.
A story where Bing-ge starts visiting Shen Qingqiu’s dreams pretending to be Bing-mei, as he wants to seek that same comfort he experienced briefly in the extras.
