Summary
The city of Arus has been thriving for centuries, not by the hands of humans, but by the undead hands of the vampires that carefully guide them. These vampires do not wish to kill the mortals around them, but hide among them to live out their undead lives in peace. However, this becomes increasingly difficult when a new blood disease starts spreading through the community. Rumors spread as the clans start casting suspicion on each other. To keep the peace a team made up of several different clans is formed to get to the bottom of this disease to see what brought about such sickness to their fellow kindred.
However, this investigation leads the team to start questioning each other's motivations and uncovering very personal secrets as they are forced further down the rabbit hole.

A stellar Vampire fic with amazing pacing, bitting dialogue, and a gorgeous writing style.
I had only come to finish about half of this book either in late 2020 or 21’- but I had enjoyed it so much I wanted to limit my reading. Now more than 3 years later, revisiting this excellent fix seemed becoming. I’m glad to have finished this and continue to be in awe of the author’s writings.⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ SIX STARS (my rating system is fucked now but Idc- this is the exception)
