Summary
The Joker is dead. And Gotham doesn’t know what to do with the child who killed him.

Stephen had to bite back a scoff, "I'm sorry, Peter, but even making everyone forget you exist won't be enough. Your very existence is the problem now. To fix this, we need to- I will need to erase you. At our current state, all I could do, is make it so you never existed in our universe."
"Never exist? You mean, I-I'll die? Again?" Peter's voice trembled.
"You won't have to. I can send you to a different universe, one where Peter Parker- where Spider-Man has never existed. You won't have to die, you won't exist here anymore, but you can still live." Stephen chose to omit how low the success rate was. He wanted to give the kid hope.
"Live a good life, Peter."

Summary
The summer before his last year in school Alex Forbes is sent on trip across the U.K and some parts of Europe accumulating skills in which his father says are necessary.
He's two weeks in Wales when he's told he will be heading to Scotland and this time he wouldn't be without company.
Some of children of his father's society are there, all in this one Manor without any parental supervision — a recipe for disaster.
Alex is given little choice with regards to befriending these teenagers. They are all sort of odd in their own way, one in particular — a boy with chilling, ice blue eyes, a brooding frown and a morbid fascination for all things dead.
It is their fathers wishes they become friends, allies.
Joining the House of Spades Alex is given two choices either bend or break to fit the role given by Nigel Colbie — the Jack of Spades.

Summary
