Due to Laudna’s strength, Imogen did a lot of the heavy lifting throughout the day. While she does understand and it isn’t Laudna’s fault, Imogen still wishes that she didn’t have to do as much of it. She can barely lift her arms past chest-height, now, as she tries to pull their shared blanket over their legs.

Her skin was warm and smooth, a deep brown that seemed to catch and hold the light. Long, dark hair cascaded down her back in loose waves, thick and glossy. Gold earrings swayed with her movements, catching Azula's eye as she tilted her head to laugh at something someone had said.
And then there were her eyes.
They were an impossible shade of blue, bright and clear even in the dim bar. Azula found herself held captive by them, something unreadable flickering beneath the surface. There was a sharpness there, a quiet challenge. A woman who didn’t just exist in a space—she commanded it.

Rumi is begging and Mira had wanted to be just that, be together, up until five minutes ago – her and Zoey had talked about it in detail, how both of their heart were beating for two people, how easy it had been to fall in love with their leader, how they wanted to try and be more, once they had restored the Golden Honmoon.
But Rumi lied to them.
