The floor is cold under his body once he half falls to the ground, he can feel it under his hands but can’t see it properly; his eyes close as soon as he realises what has happened, so hard it hurts to move them under his eyelids. The blood drops out of his nose, down to his upper lip and then leaving red stains everywhere when he struggles to breathe through his mouth.
