Summary
Etho Slab of Mycenae arrives with his sister, Gemini Tay of Mycenae, at Sparta. They hope to secure alliances and trades to ensure that Etho's acension to the throne is smooth. They are mistaken as suitors vying for the hand of Prince Bdubs, making their goal very, very difficult. As they await his decision, they spend a month in Sparta, catching up with old friends and enjoying their time amongst the festivities.
He meets a rude, arrogant... yet charming? Noble boy in one of the quiet courtyards. His wildness and free spirit awaken something in the young prince. Falling in love was the last thing on Etho's list.
Prince Bdubs of Sparta, the most beloved by Aphrodite Areia, a gift from the gods, and the fairest of the land. Royalty and nobility clamor for his hand across Greece. He stands, veiled in front of the hundreds present at his palace.
He will choose only one suitor to take his hand. All watch in anticipation. All hold their breath.

Summary
Etho didn't think he was the greatest Sith. Certainly not the most loyal. Despite it, he did what was asked and didn't question too much, even if he really wanted to.
He didn't care for his emotions, either, especially when they pertained to a certain Jedi.

Summary
Being a Jedi was tough work, in Bdubs' opinion. Especially when one is Force bonded to a Sith Apprentice without one's knowledge or consent for the first eighteen years of their life. So, when one meets this Sith, it is bound to come as quite a shock.

To be clear, it was a favor forged out of mutual interest. Either side had something to gain from this deal. There were zero other reasons why Scar might’ve accepted Grian’s invitation without really considering it. Zero.
It didn’t matter that Scar had been too distracted by Grian’s mischievous grin to catch his question at first. It didn’t matter that his stomach had practically launched into his throat when the words actually did register. It didn’t matter that they were the same ones he’d fantasized about hearing for the better part of two years now.
“Scar,” Grian had said, dangerously earnest. “Go on a date with me.”

Sinking deeper into that new world, Bdubs felt himself relax, the world above quickly fading away in favour of the thousands of beautiful colours and stunning sights that made up the seafloor.
Every dive it felt like he’d find something new. Maybe some weird formation of coral, that he’d stop by for a while to commit to memory, or perhaps some interesting looking fish, again making a mental note to skim through his books later on in hopes of finding the species.
Needless to say, it certainly wasn’t rare for Bdubs to become… a little distracted, on the job. It was so easy to spot some cool marine life off in the distance and forget everything he was doing to swim over there to check it out, which was exactly what happened when, well into the afternoon that day, he saw a shimmer of silver off in the distance and, against his better judgement, decided to follow.
What was unusual, though, was for him to go so deep down - and yet there he was, descending deeper and deeper into the ocean, desperately searching for that sliver of silver again.

Grian wasn't exactly the textbook definition of normal. That was something he had known since he was in Year 1.
See, Grian was something called a Medium. Or maybe an Empath, a Sensitive, a Psychic, whatever it was that people preferred to call it, Grian was. In more simple terms, he could see ghosts.

Or; Grian can see ghosts. Despite that, he never took advantage of his ablility. He ignored any spirits he came across and did his best to live a normal life. That all changes when he transferrs to a school with a very interesting ghost haunting the halls.

Grian has no idea why everyone seems to fawn over Hotguy, and frankly its quite annoying at this point and so is the hero himself, especially now that he finds himself working alongside the boastful and flirtatious hero after accidentally taking up the mantle of Cuteguy after a good deed and a misunderstanding.

“So you’re saying.. Etho gives me special treatment because I’m his best friend?” Bdubs put together. Cleo pursed her lips. She almost looked like she wanted to correct Bdubs on something, but thought better of it and nodded.
“Yeah, pretty much.” They confirmed.
or, Bdubs is the exception to all of Etho’s carefully crafted rules and boundaries, and everyone else on the server seems to know why except for him. It doesn’t help that he’s in love with him, either.

“Gah! Where the hell did you come from? Who are you?” someone shouts from beside him. Etho's head snaps to the side and he meets eyes with a man who definitely was not there a moment ago.
The man sitting across the pond from him has dark hair, tan skin, and huge dark eyes that shine in the moonlight. More interesting even than the fact that he apparently appeared out of thin air, are his rounded ears and dull teeth. Etho has never seen a human without the glazed look of a Taken's servitude before.
