Summary
In which Tav and her company finally get to Baldur's Gate only for everyone and their mother to ask them to the metaphorical dance. Stressful is an understatement, so she wants to give Halsin and Astarion a night to unwind. But Astarion knows better. He sees what she won't admit.

Summary
Building the settlement in the formerly Shadow-cursed lands is all well and good, but Halsin finds himself missing his lovers often. Luckily at a fancy party held by a familiar mystic cadaver Tav received some gifts before they went their separate ways once more. Unfortunately for Tav and Halsin, Astarion's got a wicked streak, and creative one too.
Twenty-five words isn't many, but Astarion's good with his mouth.

Summary
Liar, blazing across her mind, the first clear thought she’s had so far. It’s almost a relief to be so certain of something, so she lets it go.

Summary
Astarion hadn’t looked away from her since breaking from her grasp, and he remained, carved from stone, unbreathing, undead. Her hand didn’t hold him—he could pull away, but she knew he wouldn’t. “Astarion,” she whispered. She could say his name every moment of every day, bewitched by the way it rolled off her tongue. “Let me take care of you. Isn’t it easier, not to think all the time?”
The pain and anger had leached from his face, leaving behind only the man, beautiful, vulnerable, solemn, hungry, and so, so tired. Her hand crept up, long, elegant fingers curving around his chin, her thumb resting delicately on his lips, gentle enough to part them, and she stroked, feather-light, his lip soft beneath her. “One last time,” she whispered, as entranced by him as he was by her. “Invite me in. Have dinner with me.”
An exploration of an older, selfish, and experienced Tav, defined by her quest for power and need for control—and Astarion, who might have bitten off more than he can chew. Has he found a powerful ally against Cazador, or merely exchanged one master for another?
Plenty of smut, plot, tension, and a budding mystery. Now in Act 3!

Summary
Based on a piece of dialogue I overhead between companions.
Tav wanted to do something nice for him, nothing more. She helped him find a way to bathe in the middle of the wilderness and expected nothing in return. An inconsequential gesture that should have been part of his plan. A signal that what he was doing had worked.
And yet it somehow was the start of Astarion falling harder than ever before.Bookmarked by Dearhound
