Link and Zelda are not twins.
This is important to remember, considering everything else about them. They are, in fact, siblings. The do share a mother, a royal heritage, and a nose.
They have the same morbid sense of humor, and—though no one will ever believe Link for saying it—the same filthy mouth.
Yes, they are siblings. But they aren't twins, least of all identical twins, lest either the King or Link's uncle lied about one of their birthdays by a factor of years. Not a lot of years,but still. The point stands, they are not identical. Or even slightly identical. They barely share more than a passing resemblance to one another.
