Summary
The grin that darkens his face is equally as fierce as yours, sharp edges tinted to the sight with relief, gleaming whiteness to the touch. Something inside him is wound up, tightly condensed in preparation; something inside him is like a never-satisfied black hole, born to be sprung. It does not truly calm in the gaze of your pouting half-lidded glare, only tensing around your presence more.
He does not falter, does not turn away. Instead, the gleam widens, almost enveloping you in its entirety.

Summary
There's something about him that just draws you in. Thinking on it some more reveals the answer to you -- Ling had always shown you the perfected version of his hospitality smile, the one that said 'my life was meaningless, till I was given the opportunity to serve your every need'. This smile is infinitely more beautiful, drawing you into the orbit of his warm, dimpled smile. It's nervous, slightly crooked, and not at all perfect.
You realize that this is the kind of smile, the kind of warm looks, that you want to share with him more often.

Summary
There’s a shop, on the corner of the Main Street of M-City. As a corner shop, the shop itself always looks bright, always welcoming to the people of the City. The windows are sometimes decorated with shop wares, sometimes with posters, and sometimes with pictures painted on with washable paint from the local kids and artists. However, even though it’s such a well-known place, no one ever harasses the shop. There are rumors about the fate of people or monsters that bother the shop; that they always disappear.
When asked, all you can really do is smile. (Sheepishly.)
