"What do you mean?" She replies back, voice equally as quiet.
"I mean, the past four years of my life are completely gone. Every memory, every moment, like they'd never even been there to begin with," he starts, hoping he doesn't sound as desperate as he feels. "Why is it that you're the only thing my brain seems set on remembering?"

Coriolanus must face the question he’s run from all his life:

Starts at the point in TBOSAS when Lucy Grey asks Coriolanus, "Who's the third?" - and he tells the truth.
I wanted to explore the question that if Coriolanus Snow could change, what would that look like? In TBOSAS, he's always struggling morally with himself on what's "good/kind/selfless" or "ambitious/reputation/power". So I started a story about it.
Very heavy focus on the psychological aspects of who he was in the Capitol, his internal struggles within himself, and how Lucy Gray Baird softens a hard-grown Capitol Boy.
COMPLETE - I have the first draft of this story done, but I'm still editing and polishing up each chapter before posting it...
