Korra, I’m coming to the South Pole next month.
I know you asked for some space… but you also said you’d only be gone a couple of weeks and that you’d write us back, so forgive me for not taking everything you say at face value.
I do have some legitimate business reasons for visiting, but it would be a lie to say I couldn’t send somebody else if that was all it was. It’s been six months. I want to see you Korra. I hope you let me.

Summary
Korra’s not really sure when she lost sight of Asami.
It’s been a blur, ever since she stepped out of the Spirit Portal and Kuvira was taken away. She had hoped that they would at the very least have a little break, considering they literally just defeated a dictator that was threatening to take over the entire city or burn it to the ground trying. Raiko’s never been accused of being sympathetic though.
She’s only been back a couple weeks, and she already can’t stand him.
(Korra loses Asami immediately after the defeat of Kuvira, and then goes to find her)

Summary
Korra is on a spiritual quest, backpacking through the remote wilderness when she suddenly stumbles across a mysterious woman and a crashed plane. Asami is an aerodynamic engineer who's plane just crashed in the middle of the uninhabited forest. As they hike together, they find a path out of the woods... and into each other's hearts.

“You're not.” Asami reaches out to brush a hand gently along her arm, and Korra's pretty sure she stops breathing. It lasts only as long as a heartbeat, but her skin tingles under Asami's touch, like a gentle electricity. “I want you to be here.”
