Wang Yibo had been acting strange all day, yanking him away from the first place they’d taken a picture together when they were about to take another selfie to recreate the moment, pulling him away from their lunch before the server had even taken their orders, grabbing him and running out of a bar before Xiao Zhan had even gotten to look at a menu, and now Yibo looked as if he was going to cry as he watched a herd of swans descend on the water at the reflecting pool in the garden where they had first met.

“I’m not fucking interested in being shipped off to some loser’s farm,” Xiao Zhan heard hissed out angrily around the corner. He stopped walking abruptly, not wanting to interrupt the heated argument that appeared to be going on nearby.
“Yibo,” he heard Wang Han say patiently. “We’re not shipping you off. This is an opportunity we think would be very beneficial for you.”
Xiao Zhan peeked around the wall to see Wang Han put his hands on the shoulders of an attractive young man with a scowl on his face, arms crossed and clearly furious.
