Daeron has his first dream of doom at the age of ten and two, when he dreams of his mother dying in excruciating gorey detail. Throughout the rest of his life, these same dreams plague him -- but frustratingly so, he never dreams of his own demise. He thinks, if he knew what was coming to him, he'd find a strange comfort in his fate.
One thing he does not dream of, however, is his father betrothing him to Lord Lyonel Baratheon to prevent his own brother from claiming Daeron under the pretense of old Valyrian tradition in his descent to madness.
