The boy sniffs, brings his hands down to his lap and what Izana sees made his eyes widen in shock.
The lower half of the boy’s face is covered in blood, two bandages hanging sadly on the sides of his lips. It reveals two matching diamond-shaped wounds, likely still fresh and in the process of healing judging by the reddish tinge of the skin surrounding them.
