Summary
In a dystopian Fate-like world run by a brutal dictatorship called the World Government, Fujioka Legoshi finds out he is incompatible with the spirit-summoning ritual to receive a servant companion known as a Shyrntai. Everyone else has one, including his best friend Jack! Without a Shyrntai, Legoshi is deemed unworthy to be counted as a regular citizen, and loses everything he owned as well as everyone he loved, forced to become what is known as a Nothing. Nothings are animals in society without citizenship, employment, wealth, and even a name. They live away from normal society in a place called the Mansion of Nothingness. It is a dog-eat-dog world out there and no citizen of the World Government trusts the Nothings. If you help them, you can be executed for treason. Legoshi has no choice but to succumb to cheating, deception, and stealing in order to survive. In doing so, Fujioka Legoshi dies and a new Legoshi takes his place, one who has to protect his own above all else.
Or so he thinks.

Summary
This fan-fic story is set in an alternate universe where Legosi and Louis' backstory are mostly the same with slight changes; mostly that they knew each other as kids (Jack isn't introduced until later, for example). This story will focus on the life and drama of these two as they grow and learn more about themselves, and face the struggles of it all.
This will contain SPOILERS from the manga, but not include all story arcs such as the murder mystery or kidnapping, etc. I wold suggest if you've only watched the Beastars Anime, do not read because it will include spoilers and details that are revealed later in the manga (From chapter 50 onward). So you've been warned!
There will be character perspective shifts throughout the story, it will be properly separated to avoid confusion.
This is my first time posting any kind of fan fiction but I wanted to give it a try, with everything going on it'll keep me focused. Please tell me what you think!
