As a quidditch scout, it’s Oliver Wood’s job to wine and dine and otherwise tempt talented individuals to play for the Falmouth Falcons. On a work trip to Italy, he realises he’s got his work cut out for him trying to win over the generally laconic Blaise Zabini, a star chaser for the Sorrento Swifts.

The story picks up where it left off with Hermione and Theo still connected to the sinister rings once used by the Butcher.
Theo and Hermione are cooking up minor miracles in the Lab in order to sever Hermione’s bond from the ring without harming Theo’s soul. Harry and Draco are trying not to murder each other while investigating a rise in illegal potion overdoses and unsanctioned duels with big players turning up dead. Blaise is considering hanging up his velvet smoking jacket for a redhead who has stolen his heart. Probably Aggie & Winnie will make an appearance. Also Crooked is there.
