Summary
Slowed by a snowstorm on their way to Albany, John and Arthur take refuge in a small cabin. In one universe, Arthur realizes that John has not only taken over his hand, foot, and eyes, but also whatever portion of him is responsible for the common cold - and how do you take care of a being who has no body to take care of?
In another universe, Arthur is the one to wake with a raging cold. Having suffered worse, he insists on persevering to Albany... only to be stopped by John. The god fragment has never been anyone's nurse, but he makes a solid effort whilst sorting through yet another new feeling.
(And a little bonus chapter where pre-canon Arthur takes care of sick Parker. Just for fun.)

Summary
Arthur and John have become Doe & Lester, private detectives. The sky falls around their ears, strange flesh monsters crawl from portals, and the world seems to be nearing its end. John begins to realize what exactly he wants out of life, as Arthur faces the constant enemy to his own happiness: himself.

Out of the corner of his eye, the warrior caught a flash of a blue cape and a pair of yellow eyes as a figure slid behind one of the surrounding pillars, swathed in the shadow.
He bit down a hiss. So he is going to eavesdrop. Tsk.
Not too long ago, maybe half an hour at most, Galacta Knight had been flying a certain pesky knight back to the castle after getting the promise of receiving a tour of the place. He’d be honest for once, he had been looking forward to it just a bit, but no sooner had he touched down, releasing his grip on the other, had the guard commander—Waddle Doo, had been his name—found them and passed on a message. The King of Dreamland wanted to see Galacta Knight.
Meta Knight even had the audacity to nod and then silently walk off in the other direction, pretending all the while that he wasn’t going to spy as the winged warrior was led away by Waddle Doo, and off to the throne room.

Or, Galacta Knight attempts to settle into life in Dreamland, and Meta Knight attempts to solidify a friendship.
It's all easier said than done.

Summary
A direct sequel to my fix-it fic (I got better, he got better) that took on a life of its own. Seems I had more to say. This one is gonna be a little different. If you want to read my direct sequel to that full on AU the chapters will be labeled as such, take note those particular bits are true divergence from what happened at the end and set post canon.
In this fic I will also be taking forays into the past (and the story canon proper) with Greed and Ling this time around. When they first 'met' and events along the way at different POVs. I will also endeavor to explain their frankly odd behavior within the show's timeline with some fill in. A lot of this is up to close enough to canon to be something that could have happened, or at least feasible, in these chapters— so those will be labeled accordingly as well.
