"Mistletoe.” Grover mouthed when Annabeth didn’t immediately panic. The daughter of Athena’s face went completely red. She looked back at the Aphrodite camper’s with a death glare before sensing the movement to her right. Percy had stopped his rambling to see what had caught his friends’ attention.
“Grover eat this!” Annabeth feverishly ripped the plant off the pole and shoved it in the satyr’s open mouth.
“What was that?” Percy asked, his eyes wide.
“Nothing!” Annabeth nearly screamed.
“Why are you acting weird?” Percy questioned, completely oblivious to the way Annabeth's heart was racing.
“I’m not acting weird, you’re acting weird!” The blonde girl accused before storming out of the amphitheater, book in hand and with a murderous look in her stormy eyes.
“What’s wrong with her?” The son of Poseidon turned to his best friend. Grover shrugged, a plant sticking out of his mouth.or
