Summary
Life isn’t fair, case in point, you didn’t expect to be trudging through the snow to the corner store to pick up some much needed, over priced, feminine hygiene products while trying not to bleed all over yourself all because you failed to remember to pick them up with your normal shopping. That’s the thing, no one ever said life was meant to be fair did they?
~*~
Promises were just words, promises of home, safety, love. Only ever worth something if the person kept those words close to their soul. That was something he learned pretty damn quick. Built for love, to be a friend, a companion, tossed into the rings to be a fighter, something he was never meant to be. The only promise he knew he could trust were the few he made to himself, the promise to never fall for the sweet lies of a pretty face again.
~*~
What happens when two souls who honestly need each other, don’t know how to open up and trust? Can love, trust, and home be found when the world has proven that trust is a dangerous thing? Can they get over the hurt that this unfair world has piled on them? Open up to each other and maybe, just maybe find the home they both need?Series

I loved this so much. Bitty stories are such a favorite of mine, and Underlust Sans is almost never written with an in depth personality besides being controlled by list. I love this version of him, and the world building that explains the existence of bitties :)

Eat, sleep, work, repeat. That's your life, and it has been for a long time. The only thing you can remotely call fun is your love for cooking, which is what brings you one night to a cooking class.
You find yourself paired up with a very tall, very boisterous skeleton who by the end of the night is the first friend you've had in a while. Through him you meet other monsters and they're all just as awesome as he is, except for his brother who is absolutely terrifying.
But the more you get to know Sans, the more you start to realize that he's a lot more than just the menacing asshole he makes himself out to be.

I ate this up within a week. All of the POV’s are absolutely phenomenal and the world building left me at the edge of my seat. And I love love LOVE, how these relationships developed and it took a while until they ended up together. Just all in all, it truly had me hooked ❤️👍

Summary
The strong nuclear force is defined as the strongest of the four fundamental forces of nature. It is the force that binds protons to neutrons inside of an atomic nucleus. On the quantum level, it also binds quarks of similar charge and direction together in order to form protons and neutrons.
The summer after her graduation from undergrad with dual degrees in biotechnology and theoretical physics, the world around Vera Jefferson changed. An entire new race of people poured out of Mt. Ebott, the namesake for her university. The monsters that now populated the militarized zone around the campus and base of the mountain were strange, but kind. Having made quick friends with the sarcastic bartender/owner of the restaurant across the back alley from her apartment, it seemed as though her world had changed for the better.
Once she starts the first semester of her PhD, she realizes just how true that is when she meets some of the other monsters around campus. Life may not be easy, but with the help of the people she went through undergrad with and her new friends from underground, she feels for the first time that she just might make it through.

I had a feeling that she would have a connection to the void ever since they mentioned that 1. She didn’t get dizzy when using shortcuts, 2. Her SOUL was devoid of magic, and 3. She said her safe place was of this dark place with red and blue lines with islands. But as soon as she mentioned having that plushy and it being named “Mailbox” I was screaming “GASTER” as they dragged me away to the white padded room. Seriously though, when Sans mentioned void mages I was thinking immediately, “Oh, so she’s a void mage specifically. Awesome.” Also, just phenomenal work on the characters, because usually I can be picky about OC main characters, but Vera is so well fleshed out and feels like a real person with realistic wants and flaws. And Sans is well written as well. Don’t even get me started on the setting! Most people just use college as a setting without really diving into the college life, but here, I can really get a feel of the academic side of things from both an undergraduate’s POV, and a graduate’s POV. All in all, I love love this :)

This is a one of a kind story. I’ve seen ones where the Reader becomes Sans, but never one where they have to occupy Sans’s body with him still there. They have such adorable chemistry and Sans is written to perfection here 💙
