Summary
Sometimes it's the Force that insists you travel in time and fix your galaxy. (The Force doesn't seem to enjoy the Sith as much as the Sith enjoy themselves.)
But sometimes it happens the old fashioned way: you just get stuck in carbonite and by some miracle you don't actually die within the first ten minutes of being thawed out.
And when Obi-Wan Kenobi gets thawed out, he has managed many things, and semi-infinite patience is certainly one of them. The question is: can he be bothered to actually put that patience into play, or is he just So Done with all this shit?

Summary
Out of the darkness a small figure ambles across the plaza.
Immediately, Obi-wan focuses on it, sensing a muffled presence in the Force. Slowly the little figure totters its way towards them in a meandering walk. Obi-wan frowns. The figure’s force signature is odd but also familiar. It’s muffled as if obscured by layers of fabric, the edges dissipating into vague nothingness.
The figure steps into a puddle of streetlights, and the light glints off metal armor painted a dull green.
A Mandalorian.

The war ends. Darth Vader collects what he deems is his.
Fives, alive and aware, witnesses the aftermath as Vader gathers the remnants of the 501st, 212th, and the Coruscant Guard. He endeavours to finish what he started; to free his vode from their inhibitor chips, whilst trying to remain undetected by the Sith Lord onboard.
Following the discovery of a few unexpected captives and a somewhat-cobbled-together plan that promptly goes sideways, Fives' joke of shoving Vader out of an airlock finally comes to pass.

“Ah, Herr Morgan.” Strauss turns on the rock, beady eyes swivelling around to peer up at him behind his spectacles. “It’s going swimmingly. As I like to say, Herr Morgan, there exists not a debtor who is unable to pay, only a debtor who is unwilling to pay. A little prod is all that is needed!”
Arthur sighs. “Okay,” he says, ready to confront the inevitable. “Well, do you need me to… prod anyone for you?”
“Ah! Not right now, Herr Morgan, not right now,” Strauss says. Arthur looks at him, confused. “As I said, swimmingly! I gave Herr Smith a list of debtors a few days back and he’s managed to get the money from all of them. Efficient work, that man does, though that leaves none for you, I’m afraid.”

In which Arthur dies, lives, and almost dies again at the shock of it. And he swears that this time, in his future, he will not make the mistakes of his past.
