“What? Of course we did…” Wheeljack slowed down his speech, realising Miko’s intention. This surely wasn’t the worst idea, considering the others weren’t in base, Not even Ratchet!

Summary
The repeated thunderstorms of Cybertron were one thing a cybertronian had to get used to in Iacon. Loud accompaniment of roaring thunder and repeated melody of falling acid teardrops raining onto buildings and the planet. One would need to become used to the rare and harsh storms that blew through Iacons suburbs, causing mass destruction and even casualties. Despite the deaths of few cybertronians, it was always ignored and never addressed.

A normal day is severely sidetracked when a gold and silver sphere appears in Omega Outpost One. No one remembers taking it in, no one knows where it came from and no one certainly knows what it's capable.
Apparently it's capable of peering into alternate universes, differing worlds that show them what-ifs, maybe-could-haves and never-will-be. This will be a learning experience, not only for the Autobots, but for the Decepticons as an identical artifact appears on the Nemesis and the Cons are unknowingly watching alongside them.

A desperate Energon shortage leads the Autobots to get pinned down after an Energon signal beacon leads them straight to a Decepticon mine, where they waited for an ambush. With almost no chance of escape, Arcee being injured, and increasingly desperate odds, Jack rushes to their aid with any assistance he can give. However, one thing leads to another, and tragedy strikes...

Team Prime realizes that Jack is... a lot more important to the team than they once thought.
