Summary
Merlin couldn’t remember the last time he’d hugged or been hugged by someone. He had grown to love Camelot, its landscapes and its people. Camelot had sunken into his bones and had started feeling like home. He had Gaius, he had Gwen, and, sometimes, even Arthur. Yet the loneliness never truly left him.

Arthur’s father was not a very tactile person, and could not be called affectionate in any breadth or sense of the word when it came to physical touch. While he shared and experienced camaraderie with his knights, it was limited to pats on the shoulder and thumps on the back.
What he had with Merlin… it was different, and he was slightly unsettled by how much he needed it.

In which Merlin and Arthur suffer seasonal bouts of loneliness, and the combined friction of their pain leads to Merlin confessing his magic to Arthur. (Not without serious emotional subtext, a massage representing the last vestige of Merlin's heterosexuality and a little display of magic).

Summary
Bellatrix's torture goes wrong and Harry is transformed into a snake, doused in experimental potions, and accidentally banished through time by a spell that latches onto the Horcrux in his scar. He lands in 1943, broken and helpless, directly in the path of a lonely sixteen-year-old Tom Riddle.
Tom finds an unusual snake in the Forbidden Forest and can't resist taking it in. Harry, too traumatized to fight back and too terrified to reveal the truth, has no choice but to accept care from the boy who will become Voldemort.
As they bond, Harry realizes he sees more of himself in Tom than he'd like to admit.

Summary
Harry, Ron, and Hermione, in the middle of their quest for the Horcruxes, manage to capture a Death Eater, and Harry reads the location of a gathering for the Dark Lord’s faithful out of his mind. Harry resolves to sneak into the gathering, a masked ball, to see if he can find a clue about the Horcruxes. He never expected to find Theodore Nott instead.
