This was Utahime’s answer, when asked to describe her co-host, newly-debuted solo singer, Gojo Satoru on the JJK stage. It was the first time the two were asked to appear on a show together.
"Utahime!" Gojo is quick to intervene from the other side of the stage, his famous cheshire-grin and boisterous voice in full display. "Are you saying you're attracted to me?"
"No," Utahime shoots him down, "I am repelled."

Summary
They spend mornings at the memorial. Two failed teachers in the graveyard of their classrooms. Arguing. Reminiscing. Joking at their chance of a future. Wondering if they could take it.
The students join them sometimes. Toge and Gojo greet each other with sushi ingredients. Maki spars with her. Miwa documents everything with a camera. They sing songs before the day ends, endure a handful of Gojo’s jokes, then part ways.
“Wanna bet?”
She rolls her eyes, knowing exactly where this was going —matchmaking, a game he always plays, her as witness.
“Utahime,” he coaxes her. “Don’t just roll your eyes; say something—”
After losing their students in battle, Utahime and blind Gojo are reintroduced to the colors of life.

Summary
As expected, the Captain's cabin is the only private room in the entire ship. It is decorated according to her status: proper bedding, probably made of linen too; a desk with parchment and an inkwell, a compass, a telescope. Leather boots under the bed, a refined oak wardrobe filled with shirts cleaner than those the rest wear. Two odachi with silver-plated handles hung on the wall across from each other, a beautiful teppo resting against a corner.
What a woman.
Gojo is a fool. As the Grand Admiral, he is not used to the stench of common ports. He is, also, not used to magic. Most importantly, he's not used to infiltrating a pirate ship.

Summary
Death is introduced to Nanami Kento when he is seventeen. He is pale and on his knees. His face is disfigured by tears. He utters no words, but human emotions have a way of making themselves known to Death. Don't die is a bloodied wish splattered on the floor; It's my fault is stamped in big bold letters on the boy's blond hair.
Death regards the young man and his wilting hair of faded yellow; eyes devoid of life. The thick scent of regret keeps the boy from standing as Death picks up his friend’s body from the floor.
Death observes Nanami, Utahime, and Gojo as they navigate love and loss in a cruel world.

Summary
Utahime can’t find the words to best express all her emotions at this moment. Usually, the sentences I hate this or I’m mad or I’m sad or This is horrible were enough to convey her feelings. But this —it’s too awful a crime to be just one of those.
Out of shock, she drops the damaged item, wide-eyed and jaw slack. She wills herself to keep her tears in. She can handle it, but she can already name one person who’d be wailing when they see this.
Maybe Mr. Yaga can fix it? No. It’s impossible. She kneels down on the carpeted floor. Her shaking hands hover over the disrespected object, worried her touch would make its condition worse. No. It’s probably too late, she tells herself. The marks are too thick and permanent. She glides her fingers tentatively on the vandalized surface and her heart cries at the realization. It’s definitely too late.
Iori Utahime is a protector. She is six years old and will do everything she can to protect the peace and the books in the daycare's reading corner: no candy crumbs, no noisy four-year olds, and absolutely no purple crayons.

Summary
“You’re weak, Daddy.” Satomi gives her father a disgusted look. Her baseball cap, gloves, and bat deposited to a corner of their large picnic mat.
She's just five years old, but Utahime's already lost count of the times her daughter had called Satoru weak —not that she's complaining. It was, on the contrary, very satisfying.
Said father juts out his lower lip in response, another “You can count on me. I’m the strongest” speech dying in his mouth as he eyes the cookie his daughter is holding up to him.
“It’s okay, Daddy. You don’t have to accept it.” She takes the cookie back in the most dignified manner a five-year old can, her hazel eyes judging blue. Then she plops the whole cookie into her mouth, bravely and unceremoniously, “I know raisins scare you.”
Kazu and Toma work on an assignment. Meanwhile, Satomi does her very best to win all her battles and be stronger than everyone (even against her father, the strongest sorcerer).

Utahime really doesn’t have time for —she eyes the silver-haired spectacle across her— this. He had barraged her station last time, too. Throwing back the questions she asked him (all done professionally, mind you) back at her.
Asking her name was fine, asking about her volunteer work was fine, nice even, but —his playful wink flashes through her mind— flirting? I’m single. But we can change that, a cringy joke like that was something she would never entertain. At work. In her station.
When Utahime signed up to work at a vaccination site, fending off terrible pick up lines was not part of the job description.

Summary
“Primary color,” the young boy dictates dramatically, an air of seriousness on his face as his hands squeeze out paint from a little tube. “Blue,” he smiles when the blue floods the white of the canvas.
“Primary color,” he takes another tube, “Red.” The red pain is dutifully placed beside the smudge of blue.
Gojo Satoru smirks, hearing the four-year old’s antics. He observes the little boy pick up his paint brush, a determined expression with a hint of held-back excitement on the child’s face.
“Mix together to foooorm...” he drags his last word as he swirls the two colors on the canvas, matching the pace and timing for the reveal of the new color.
“Secondary color,” he stops and beams when it’s ready, making a dramatic pause as if expecting a drum roll and- “Purple!”
Kazuto's spending a productive afternoon painting with his father, until they both decide to play games that eventually lead them to Utahime Iori's workplace. She may or may not be pleased.
