Summary
Three times Coil has failed expressing his feelings and the one time he actually succeeded.

“I like your laugh.” Coil ends up saying so suddenly. He stops himself from swinging, and his stupid sentence causes Slingshot to pause whatever he was doing. He can feel the other’s gaze on him as he dumbfoundedly can only stare at the floor. He can feel heat rising up to his face, and he tries coming up with some lie or excuse for whatever type of reply Slingshot says.
The silence dreads on for what seems like eternity before the other speaks.
“Wait- repeat that?”
“It’s like a photograph!” Coil blurts out, as calmly as he could. To strengthen his lie he ends up looking at Slingshot while pointing to whatever is in front of him. “The view! It’s real fucking nice dude. Thanks for taking me here.”
