Summary
Before he was Jiang Wanyin, Sect Leader of Yunmeng Jiang, he was Mu Qing, the Martial God of the Southwest. After the events of Guanyin Temple, Jiang Cheng has passed the heavenly trial and remembers his life as Mu Qing.

Summary
A Kingdom of Sunlight where the angels reside.
An Empire of Darkness where demons devour.
When the lands of the Sun and Moon Courts becomes infested with blight - a devastating curse that drains the vitality from the land - an angel, Feng Xin, and demon, Mu Qing, form a partnership to try and deduce the nature and origin of this curse in order to find a cure and save both Courts. Sheer ice and venomous fire pollute the atmosphere between these two unlikely allies, however as they continue to investigate the blight, something more grows between them - something consuming and forbidden. They find there is far more at work within the Courts beyond rising tensions and a looming war - schemes and treachery run thick, threatening to tear them apart, along with a century's old secret that could shake the very foundations of the Sun and Moon Court. A secret that irrevocably ties Feng Xin and Mu Qing together - one that could bind them or break them. Together they must navigate the Courts' deceit and figure out how to stop the blight before both Empire and Kingdom are reduced to ash and bone.

Summary
When civil unrest stirs up all manner of monsters along the shared border between the southern regions, the Palaces of two rival generals must come together for a shared purpose—but centuries’ old animosity is not so easily overcome.
Mu Qing decides the only way forward is to intervene in these joint missions disguised as a junior official, but his clever scheme could very well implode due to one irritating obstacle: Nan Feng.
Or: Nan Feng falls in love with Fu Yao, and maybe Fu Yao falls a little in love back, but Fu Yao also doesn’t exist.

It was supposed to be a harmless little spell. A curiosity. Now there’s a fifteen-year-old Wei Wuxian waking up in bed beside Lan Wangji – in the future, no less – and a battle-hardened, fully grown Wei Wuxian wreaking havoc in the past, where Jiang Cheng is panicking, Nie Huaisang is flailing, and Lan Zhan is increasingly confused and flustered.
Time travel was not on the syllabus at Cloud Recesses. Neither, apparently, was falling in love early.
