    Ike just looked at Soren, a hint of a smile playing on his face, so small no one else would have seen it.

    “Father,” Zuko repeats, louder this time. “I am your son. Please listen to me.” He can feel the tears coming up again, and fights to hold them back. “Father!” he shouts, slightly shocked at himself. He’s never raised his voice at his father before.

    After Sokka and Suki amicably break up, they act pretty much the same as they always did, except without the kissing and romance. It’s a good thing for their friendship, but extremely confusing for everyone else.

    Zuko has a dilemma. He’s in love with his best friend, but as far as he knows, Sokka has been dating Suki for five years and they show no signs of trouble in paradise. Meanwhile, Sokka is sure his feelings for Zuko are unrequited, so he does his very best to ignore it. If only he knew what Zuko doesn’t.
