There was no doubt in his mind that Clark would pity him, or maybe he would be disgusted. Disgusted by the fact that the man who he'd seen as an equal, a companion, and a friend would find comfort in doing something so utterly pathetic to himself.
"I don't… I don't know." Bruce muttered with a shaky breath.
Clark nodded in understanding. "Alright, why don't you sit down? And we'll see what to do from there."
Bruce sat back down slowly, still clutching his left arm. Clark noticed.
"Is it your arm?" He asked softly, trying not to spook Bruce like he was a wild animal.
Bruce simply nodded.
"Can I see it?
There was a pause before eventually, Bruce slowly nodded.

It occurred to Clark, after he was able to tear his attention from the hem of Bruce’s black jiu jitsu shorts and the sweat dripping down the dip of his bare spine, that he could have been boxing to the beat of the music. But that was insane, because this was Bruce Wayne the moody, brooding Bat who, for all Clark was able to assume, trained to the sounds of automatic gunfire and screaming civilians.
More insane still— he seemed to be enjoying himself.
