Summary
At the end of Raiden Shuga’s first year as a Processor in the San Magnolia army, he is left as one of only two survivors of his squad, with the other being a quiet and mysterious boy named Shinei Nouzen.
As the years pass the two continue to be the only Eighty-Six standing at the end of their deployments, causing a deep bond of trust to form. Eventually, they are joined by others able to survive the harsh realities of war.
A short prequel piece focused on Raiden that takes place before he, Shin, and the others arrive at Spearhead Squadron.
