Summary
A serial killer, now known as 'The Kansas Vulture', has been the star of news in the small town of Emporia Kansas; having killed 8 college students in the span of a month. Allen Carpenter, along with 4 other students who attend the college have decided to band together and do some of their own investigation, but little do they know, the very person they are looking for is right in front of them.
Although, while Allen is having his fun toying with the group, he is beginning to believe he is either going insane or that really is the telltale sound of a camera shuttering from just out of sight.

Summary
Prince Tyron of Gladia was prepared for the war against the Spartans. His trip through the sea began reaching Athens, where he and his companions would join the army.
Unfortunately, they were attacked by pirates, and Tyron had to make huge sacrifices to save his best friends’ lives. Hoping for some day to be able to return with them.
But things go even further worse when he realises that his kidnapping was not a mere coincidence and that his sacrifice had been useless: The pirates were looking for someone of royal blood and his sacrifice was what they were waiting for to be able to fulfill their true objectives.

The sheriff pulled back but didn’t get very far in Jeremiah’s grip. “What are you doing?”
Jeremiah rolled his eyes, “I’m helping you to my horse, darlin’”, he drawled, adding on the pet name at the end to be especially annoying, and continued dragging the sheriff to his horse.
The sheriff pulled a face at his words, “I’m not getting on your horse.”, he said, pulling at Jeremiah’s grip again.
Jeremiah laughed, “If you really want me to leave you here stranded I will gladly do so.” He pulled the sheriff's arm off his shoulder and pushed him towards the horse. He caught himself on the side of the saddle and bit into his lip when he took a step on his injured leg to save his balance. “But if you don’t want to hobble your way back to Black Ridge in the dark, then I suggest you get on my horse.”
