His ecto-body should be easy to dismiss by now. He doesn't want to look at it, and the wounds and fluids that were inflicted upon him should be expunged enough to do so. He reaches for it, tugging at the magic to return to his core.

Summary
The Star Sanses are fighting Nightmare and co. when the AU collapses because the creator deleted it mid-battle. (A much more violent end than what Error does and leaves chunks of the AU behind.) Dream's cape got stuck on something before he could get out and he fell with the AU. When a creator deletes an AU it becomes part of the anti-void so Error (who was not fighting) goes to see what got left behind and kill off any monsters that didn't die in the deletion if he finds them.
