Summary
After their idiotic fight over Keeley, Roy and Jamie go for kebabs and Roy asks Jamie more about what he'd said at Bones & Honey about male role models in his life. Jamie realizes that he really should tell Simon how much he appreciates his stepdad, especially after putting up with him when he was a teenager. A text the next morning leads to more conversation between Jamie and Simon than they've ever had before, and Jamie starts to understand that maybe Simon isn't just the dorky guy who married his mum, that the two of them are proper family, too.

Eddie squints at him. It’s not exactly well-lit in here, but he’s still about ninety percent sure that this guy was not with Emilio’s bachelor party when they came in. “Do I know you?”
“Um. No,” the guy says. He’s got wide blue eyes and a nervous smile and a salt-rimmed margarita glass clutched in one large hand. As Eddie watches, he glances over his shoulder, then hunches down like he’s trying to hide. Given the size of him, it’s more ridiculous than effective. “So this is going to sound completely nuts, and I promise I’ll explain, but can I throw this frozen margarita in your face and call you a jerk?”

Jamie has just never been mates with a touchy person before with the added layer of said touchy person seemingly deciding that you're fair game to use as a teddy bear. Dream didn’t worry about any of these things when he met Sapnap, but he supposes that hardly even requires examination, because things have always been different with George.
He’s never been entirely sure why, but he has his guesses. Sapnap definitely seems fairly certain in his own assumptions, all knowing smiles across the kitchen island and raised eyebrows and elbows to the ribs on the couch whenever Dream makes an offhand comment about calling with George. Dream thinks he’s better off leaving the question unspoken, locking it away inside a box for later examination.

Gareth remembers Will Byers the same way everyone in Hawkins does, as the kid who went missing for a week, was presumed dead, then officially dead, and later found alive. It’s the kind of story people hang onto, if only because things like that don’t happen around Hawkins. Or, at least, they didn’t use to.
What he doesn’t remember, however, are Will’s eyes. The small mole hovering above his mouth, the dorky haircut. Gareth’s never actually met the boy before, so it makes sense to not know those things, but now that he has, it’s all too easy for the pieces of Will Byers to stick inside his brain. Too easy to recognize it as what it is: a crush.
Oh, Eddie’s going to love this.
