“Urm… are you speaking metaphorically or something?” There was an awkward chuckle from Mighty’s voice.
My claws pulled against the edge of my dress, but at least they were covered by soft white gloves this time. Heh, they actually look kind of cute. It was a sight that would make me smile if I could.
“It’d be easier if I show you. Please don’t freak out, Mighty. Promise me you won’t judge…”

This is a continuation of Ink Stained Hearts, but can be read on its own as well!

As tension blooms, the two will be forced to navigate what it truly means to let someone in, to share a home, and eventually… to love.
Can Shadow learn to lean on someone else, and will Sonic learn when to give him space?
